The Film Society of St. Joseph University aims to bring films of exceptional beauty, quality and popularity to the University campus. Our strength lies in catering to the wide and diverse participants of our University community.

Membership to FSofSJU is open to all students, faculty and non-teaching staff of St. Joseph University.

Members will have free access to all films (2 films a month) screened by the Film Society. Members will also be invited to talks, seminars, discussions and other programmes organized by the Film Society. They will be intimated on upcoming screenings and events over Whatsapp or SMS. Apart from this, members will also be given free entry to the Film Festival the Film Society hopes to organize during the upcoming year.

To become a member of the Film Society, you may register by following the links given below. Apart from that, you will be required to submit a copy of your University ID card as well as pay an annual membership fee.

The annual membership fees are fixed as follows:
Students: Rs. 100 | Faculty: Rs. 300 | Non-teaching staff: Rs. 200

Members of the Film Society will be issued an ID card which they will have to produce 15 minutes before each screening. Seats will be reserved for Film Society members who can occupy them 15 minutes before screening. 10 minutes before each screening, the remaining seats will be opened to non-members of the Film Club. Non-members can take tickets at the venue 10 minutes before the commencement of screening.

Ticket rates are fixed as follows:
Students and non-teaching staff: Rs. 10 | Faculty: Rs. 30
